Fleeting Dance

The first time I saw you, just a quick spark,

A fleeting dance,

Glance exchanged, whispers we shared,

The strolls through the paths we wandered.

Unsure, but nearby.:

Eyes would seek.

A glance, a smile, the blush on my cheek.
Your selfies, your photos —how I adored.

The way our talks gently moved ahead.

Cherished moments, now a memory.

The silent goodbyes.

The emptiness after the goodbyes:

Why such a feel?

Our first meeting-inside that car.

A rushed hello yet felt like a star.
The chocolate you gave-still my favorite taste.

Do you hold these memories, though
Moments once real, now just a view.

Live every moment.

Hold it tight, before it fades into the night.

Time won’t offer a second chance.
Only memories in a fleeting dance.

    Dear Giginy,

“This is amazing! You poured your heart into this one, I can tell. Can’t wait to hear more from you!”
